Sweet Potato Chaat Evening Snacks Recipe
Ingredients:
2 sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons yogurt
1/2 teaspoon roasted spice mix
2 tablespoons green coriander chutney
2 tablespoons tamarind chutney
1/2 teaspoon roasted spice mix (made from 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, and 2 whole red chilies)
1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder (amchur)
2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala

Method:
Steam the Sweet Potatoes:
Steam the sweet potatoes until 80% cooked. Peel the skin and cut them into thin slices.Pan-Fry the Slices:
Heat a pan and grease it with half a teaspoon of mustard oil. Place the sweet potato slices in the pan and cook on both sides until golden brown on a low flame. Sprinkle roasted spice mix (1/2 teaspoon) and dry mango powder (1/2 teaspoon). Cook until the slices turn crispy.Cool the Slices:
Once cooked, remove the slices from the pan and let them cool slightly for 5 minutes.Assemble the Chaat:
Arrange the sweet potato slices on a serving plate. Spread tamarind chutney evenly over the slices. If tamarind chutney is unavailable, you can substitute it with tomato ketchup. Next, drizzle green coriander chutney and sprinkle finely chopped fresh coriander leaves over the slices.Add Yogurt and Garnish:
Add a dollop of yogurt over the slices, then sprinkle pomegranate seeds and chaat masala for added flavor.Serve:

Pro Tip:
You can roast the sweet potatoes in a pressure cooker. Grease the cooker with half a teaspoon of oil, place the sweet potatoes inside, and cover them with two damp cotton cloths. Cook on a low flame for 15–20 minutes.
